It is with great pleasure that Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) congratulates the following students on being named to the Winter 2023 President's List. The winter terms run from January to May. Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.700 and above for the reporting term are named to the President's List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired 8-week terms grouped in fall, winter/spring, and summer.

On Thursday, Nov. 9, the SUNY Oneonta Theatre Department presented "All in the Timing," a 20th century play written by American playwright David Ives. "All in the Timing" is a collection of one-act comedic plays featuring intellect and satire and won Ives the John Gassner Playwriting Award. Each act is uniquely different from one to the next in the original six plays, ranging from an awkward first date titled "Sure Thing" to "Variations on the Death of Trotsky." Eight more plays were later included in "All in the Timing," including a monologue about a man who believes he is an actual typewriter. The SUNY Oneonta production of "All in the Timing" was directed by Kiara Pipino, associate professor of acting, directing and movement. Students from the Mask and Hammer theatre club, an active and dynamic campus organization that promotes opportunities for students of all majors to become involved in theatre activities, played the role of 21 different characters. Other students involved in the production are part of the crew as stage and assistant stage managers, assistant director, sound designer, prop coordinator, painters, master electrician, costume crafts, wardrobe supervisor and several run crew members. "The Theatre Department decided on "All in the Timing" because the nature of the show will expose students to a different acting style and aesthetic than what they have been working on previously," said Pipino. "It is a way more stylized piece, too, which means the acting will need to take into consideration the design aspects of the production - as they become just as important in the storytelling as the text itself." Casting and initial rehearsals for "All in the Timing" began at the end of the spring 2023 semester. Assistant Technical Director and Theatrical Designer Nathan Elsener designed the scenery, and Technical Director, Production Manager and Theatrical Designer Scott Segar designed the lighting. Associate Professor of Theatrical Design Bethany Marx designed the costumes, and the role of "Jack" was played by Associate Professor of Philosophy Achim Koeddermann. "Because "All in the Timing" is not a full-length play, but rather a series of short plays with a similar kind of approach to style and acting, students could work on shorter pieces and really focus on details," said Pipino.

New York Institute of Technology congratulates more than 580 students who were named to the Spring 2019 Dean's List.

A select group of outstanding students has been named to the spring 2019 Dean's List at Adelphi University. Adelphi's deans of Arts and Sciences, Education, Business, Nursing, Social Work and Psychology recognize superior academic work every semester. The Dean's List comprises full-time students-registered for 12 or more credits-who have completed at least 9 graded credits and achieved a GPA of 3.5 or above for the semester. This recognition becomes part of the student's academic record and is entered into the individual's transcript.

SUNY Delhi announces its Dean's List for the spring 2019 semester, a recognition of academic achievement for students who earn at least a 3.5 grade-point average for the semester.

RIT conferred some 4,200 degrees this academic year at all its campuses-including in Croatia, Dubai, Kosovo and China. The university held its 134th annual commencement celebration in May.

More than 690 students graduated from SUNY Delhi in May 2019. Commencement was held on May 18, and over 750 certificates, associate's, bachelor's, and master's degrees were conferred upon the Class of 2019. Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete", "D" or "F"; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

Students have been named to the dean's list at James Madison University for the spring 2019 semester. Students who earn dean's list honors must carry at least 12 graded credit hours and earn a GPA of between 3.5 and 3.899.

Students recently completed the requirements for graduation from their academic degree or certificate programs at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, NY. The college's Class of 2019, which also includes students who completed their degree requirements in Fall 2018, encompasses students from around the Capital Region and around the globe, graduating from more than 80 degree or certificate programs.

SUNY New Paltz announces its Dean's List for the spring 2019 semester, a recognition for students who excel academically and earn at least a 3.3 grade-point average in a semester with a full-time course load.

The University of Scranton announced more than 1,650 students were named to The University of Scranton's Dean's List for the 2019 spring semester.

A total of 1,520 students have been named to the Dean's List at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania (ESU) for the Spring 2019 semester of the 2018-2019 academic year, according to Joanne Bruno, J.D., provost and vice president for academic affairs. Students eligible for the Dean's List are those who have attained a 3.50 quality point average or better and are enrolled full-time. The letter grade "B" earns 3 quality points per credit, and the grade "A" earns 4 quality points per credit.

The State University of New York at Geneseo has announced its Dean's List for the Spring 2019 semester. To be on the list, a student must have achieved at least a 3.5-grade point average while taking a minimum of 12 credit hours.

The following students were named to the Castleton University Dean's List for the spring semester of the 2018-19 academic year. To qualify for this academic honor, the student must maintain full-time status and a semester grade point average of 3.5.

A total of 196 SUNY Oneonta students earned Provost's List honors for the spring 2019 semester. To qualify for the Provost's List, a student must earn a perfect 4.0 grade-point average while carrying a course load of 12 hours or more.

A total of 1,553 SUNY Oneonta students earned Dean's List honors for the spring 2019 semester. To qualify for the Dean's List, a student must earn a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher while carrying a course load of 12 hours or more.

The State University of New York at Potsdam recently named 909 students to the President's List, in recognition of their academic excellence in the Spring 2019 semester. The SUNY Potsdam students were honored for earning top marks by President Kristin G. Esterberg.

Slippery Rock University has announced its dean's list for the spring 2019 semester. The dean's list consists of SRU undergraduate students who earned an adjusted semester grade-point average of 3.5 or higher, based on a schedule of at least 12 newly attempted and earned credits.

Students are being recognized for earning Part Time honors during the spring 2019 semester at SUNY Canton.

More than 1600 students were named to the Spring 2019 President's List at Hudson Valley Community College.

Siena College names students to the Dean's List for the Spring 2019 semester.

The University of Scranton conferred more than 625 master's and doctoral degrees at its graduate commencement ceremony on May 25 in the Byron Recreation Complex. Graduates recognized at the ceremony include those who completed their degree requirements in August and December of 2018, as well as January and May of 2019.

Clarkson University awarded over 750 bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees to students from 27 states, 22 countries and 57 New York state counties, this spring. (An additional 338 students received degrees this past winter and summer.)
